Ova predstava vraća Sekspiru i gledaodma ćutanje na koje oni imaju pravo. Pozorište uvek raspolaže određenom količinom ćutanja koja pripada Ljudima. Hoću samo nešto da kažem: Argument Hamlet nas übeđuje u dramu poverenja. Iskreno Vaš Mihail Marmonnas, reditelj DIPLOUS EROS THEATRE ENSEMBLE A CURRICULUM VITAE Diplous Eros Theatre Ensamble was founded in Athens in 1983, by its permanent director Michael Marmarinos. Diplous Eros Theatre Ensamble is: Michael Marmarinos, Amalia Moutoussi, Nikos Flessas, Irene Tolis, Dimitris Kamaratos complemented by .. asssociates. As no few words describe the "psyche" of a Theatre Ensemble, a brief reference to the methodology used and the productions to date seems more relevant. Methodology The three main features which characterise the group's methodology are: 1. The use of Alexander Lowen's Bioenergetics analysis method in search of the biological constants in actors' activity. 2. A permanent contestation of the traditional links between - text and its theatrical presentation - a work of art and its surrounding space, through experimental work aimed at revealing the poetic aspects of these customarily conventional relationships, 3. The implementation of the above mentioned features, in the theatrical exploration in general, but also in that of Ancient Greek Drama. Surveillance" This production also represented Greece in the 3rd Mediterranean Bienale for Young Artists in Barcelona, in October 1987. 1987- "Strindberg - Strindberg" based on August Strindberg's "First Warning" ("Första Vorningen"), with extracts from the autoris diary and including a short film (4 min.) directed by M. Marmarinos (Another version of this production with a different cast was performed in the 1991-92 season). 1988- "Hamletmachine" based on Heiner Muller's "Die Hamletmaschine" complemented by five other texsts; - "Text Electra" by Heiner Muller - "Obituary" by Heiner Müller - "William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" (Act 111 Sc. 4) - Sophocle's "Electra" (Ist episode) - A report from Budapest, November 1956. 1989- "Brecht - Machine" based on Berthold Brecht's one-act comedy "The Wedding" (Die Kleinbürgerhochzeit). 1990: "Medea". A production of Euripides' "Medea", also called "Medea suffocatingy indoors". 1991: "Strindberg - Strindberg" based on August Strindberg's "First Warning" ("Första Vorningen"), with extracts from the autoris diary (new version) 1992; "Bremer Freiheit" by Reiner Werner Fassbinder, directed by guest director Stelios Pavlides. This production represented Greece in the International Theatre Festival of Meditrranean Countries in Malta, in November 1992. 1992-93: "Medeas"; - "Medea II" A second approach/production of Euripide's "Medea" (December '92 - April '93) - "Medea Material" by Heiner Muller (January - March '93) - "Medea by Silence" a pantomime - play by Aspasia Kralli, co-produced by A. Kralli - M. Marmarinos (March - April'93) 1003-94: "Medea III" a third approach - production of Euripides' "Medea", also called "Medea fragments". This production also represented Greece in the "Antwerpen 1993 Cultural Capital of Europe" festival, in September 1993. 1994: "Camera degli Sposi" by Yiorgos Veltsos. 1994-95: "The Golden Beetle" by Christophoros Christofis, directed by guest director Christophoros Christofis 1995: "Five Pieces for a Contra Basso Player": Works of Francois Rabat, Argyris Kounadis and Dimitris Kamaratos. Co-directed by D. Kamaratos and M. Marmarinos. 1995: "Obituary of Heiner Müller" based on the text "Obituary" ("Todesanzeigen") by Heiner Müller. Directed by guest director George Kakanakis. 1995: "Althusser Rock" based on Louis Althusser's autobiographical work "the Future Lasts Forever". A co-production with the German theatre "Mahagoni" (Hildesheim). Co-directed by Albrecht Hirche and Michael Marmarinos. This production toured in Greece, Germany and France. 1995: "Kalldewey Farce" by Botho Strauss. 1996: "Kafka - Odyssey - Argos", an one-act performance based on F. Kafka's "A Report to an Academy" and fragments from the Odyssey, ("Metamorphoses" International Festival '96, Argos Ancient Theatre). 1997: "Romantismes" directed by Michael Marmarinos. 1997: "SCHLIEMANN scaffolding" based on Schliemann's diary. Directed by guest director and composer, Heiner Goebbelin co-operation with Michael Marmarinos. 1998: "Hamlet, a snake's bite" by William Shakespeare. Directed by Michael Marmarinos.
