■ Mostar Youth Theatre is a project which addresses the art of theatre in a new, open, topical and research-intensive way. It is a place of creative research where aesthetics is a sacred rule yet it is superseded by ethics. It is profile of the third theatre in which professional commitment and results must be accompanied by love one finds in amateurs. One lives in the Mostar Youth Theatre. A production is never finished. It is a living organism constantly changing, adding, researching... Mostar Youth Theatre has opted for interaction with its audience which it appreciates, respects but also informs, educates and leads through unimaginable possibilities of the theatre in the history of civilisation. It's Not Shakespeare, but It Is Romeo and Juliet speaks without embarrassment and restraint, using the idiom of young people, about their growing up, their sexuality and awareness of their own bodies and about the fear of ignorance and impossibility of communication as they want and need with their parents. The production is a cry young people address to their parents seeking their help as they grow up. The production won the Joy of Game Award at the latest Festival of Secondary School Theatres in B&H. * Discussion with authors and performers after the performance ■
