Dina Radoman

RESEARCHING, LINKING, LISTENING Workshop of steered fantasy

■ Dina Radoman attended her first workshops when she was still a child, first in Škollgrlca, then in Škozorlšte and subsequently in other forms. This experience was very important so that today, as a director, she tries to provide conditions in which every participant in the process will be able to explore his/her feelings and views related to the topics at hand. In this manner the subjects become more-embracing, more intensive and more real, and the team of authors and the performers express themselves with authenticity. For Dina Radoman the three most important workshop techniques are steered fantasy, linking of the mental and physical space (helping to create the feeling of “ease” on the stage and contributes to the forcefulness and authenticity of the performers) and listening to the body - a technique which makes work of any kind more authentic. ■

Zvornik Youth Theatre, B&H

RETROMORFOZfi Based on Raymond Queneau's book Exercises In Style

Director: Ivan Tomašević Cast: Maja Lukić, Dušan Petrović/ Ranko Ostojić, Đorđe Deurić, Srđan Savić, Ognjen Domuz, Hristijana Tešić, Dušan Spremo, Zorana Kovačević, Sara Lazić ■ Listening to the accounts of a trivial, insignificant event in an old city bus on the outskirts of a city, we laugh at our mores... The venue is not strictly defined. The sets consist of four bus seats and their distribution creates the space of a bus, a courtroom, hospital room, gondola... This approach requires major commitment on the part of the director, actors and their imagination. No particular theatre conditions are required. It can be performed in all types of halls as well as on open stages. The production was realised in cooperation with Ivan and Aneta Tomašević, lead actors of the Šabac Theatre, founders of Maska Stage and the Club of Young Talents rallied around this stage. It was produced by the Youth Theatre of the Zvornik Youth Centre within the project Dialogue in Culture - Culture In Dialogue financed by the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. * Discussion with authors and performers after the performance.B
