U trećoj godini mandata Ivana Medenice kao umetničkog direktora Bitefa, neke komponente selekcije festival već su postale prepoznatljive. U kreiranju programa, vodilo se računa o tome da se fokusiraju određene tematske i umetničke (formalne) pojave u savremenom pozorištu i postave u širi okvir. Festival ponovo počinje prologom koji će najaviti glavnu temu, Takođe, publici će biti predstavljen i jedan novi umetnik, za koga se nadamo da će posle 52. Bitefa sted afirmaciju i u evropskom i svetskom kontekstu. Radi se o mladom izraelskom multimedijalnom umetniku Nadavu Barnei, Njegovo gostovanje na Bitefu ispunjava još jedan od „strateških ciljeva", promociju vanevropskog pozorišta.

Ove godine, medutim, na tematskom planu, selekcija obuhvata vise od jednog pojma: s jedne strane, naglasak je na onim predstavama koje se have fenomenom desnog populizma, bilo u njegovom istorijskom ili savre-

Three years after Ivan Medenica became the artistic director of Bitef some festival components have become recognisable already. In creating the programme note was taken to focus on certain thematic and artistic (formal) phenomena in the present-day theatre and place them into a broader framework. Once again, the festivalopens with a prologue announcing the main theme. The public will also meet a new artist and we hope that after the 52 nd Bitef he will gain his rightful place in Europe and across the world. We mean Nadav Barnea, a young Israeli multimedia artist. His appearance at Bitef meets yet another of the festival’s "strategic goals”: the promotion of non-European theatre.
