THE RIGHT TO PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS OF THE EMPLOYEES AND EMPLOYERS IN SERBIA
Summary
The right to professional associations of the employees and employers is one of the basic social rights, functioning as a means of achieving protection of their trade and social-economic interests. It is about a right to union associations and their effect. Such a right is regulated in many international and regional legal documents, which are discussed in this paper. Our internal law is further elaborated, with a statement that it is in great deal harmonised with the international and regional law.
In the other part of the paper, certain issues that appear in practice of trades union organisation and in effect in Serbia are singled out and analysed.
