of the tincture, have {pringed up the animal, vegetative, and mineral kingdoms, to the compofition of every of which, naturalifts find the Principals of fal, fulphur and mercury, more or lef pure, according to the body which it compofes, and the tincture wherewith it jg more or lefs fublimed and enobled.

But Lucifer by his renting from the total unity, thereby making the properties feparate, prophane and unclean, there proceeded out of the firft four forms, hellith, immortal, fierce, horrible, poifonous creatures, to whom death and darknef (the fiereenefs of the properties) is no woe or torment; for it is their life. But hell is therefore an intolerable hell to angels and to men, becaufe they were created to another ftate, in another principle, for another end.
