VICTOR BAZHENOV Victor Bazhenov, born in Moscow 1 939, in 1970 graduated from the Moscow State University where he had studied the 20th century Western European architecture. In 1 972 began to work professionally as a photographer. Bazhenov considers Edward Steihen as his teacher, specifically his “Family of man” exhibition, Bazhenov took photographs of productions by Anatoly Efros, Youri Lyubimov, Robert Sturua, Edmontus Necroshus. Bazhenov’s gallery of photographic gallery comprises mainly artists. Being a free-lancer, Bazhenov had his photographs published in a variety of periodicals in Russia, Europe and US, as well as in separate editions like Youri Lyubimov in France, Anatoly Efros in Japan, Vikhail Tumanishvili in Georgia. Personal exhibitions: Moscow (Foreign Literature Library, 1 990), Torun, Poland (1 993, as part of international theatre festival), Sevastopol, Ukraine (1 994, as part of theatre festival), Spain (1 994 as part of Grand Fiesta Rusa in Barcelona), Novosibirsk (Globt Theatre in 1 995 as part of Cristmas Theatre Festival), Novosibirsk (State Art Gallery, 1996).
